a hh visitor here…nice vid! i would be interested to see your commentary on the new hardware you mentioned buying for your work. it sounds very interesting. i have been a luddite for the very reasons you were explaining. it would be interesting to have digital tools that allowed similar control that old mediums provide. i’ve been to see bishops work too, i really love the styles that you too have. anyway, thanks for putting this vid up! happy new year. -L

Yup. I haven't found many limitations, just a different work-flow than other programs. It's fine for color, etc, it's all what you make of it. Example of colorwork: (1) (2)

Still using Manga Studio Pro? Beyond the inital love-fest, I’ve grown tired of it’s many limitations… Hate the layers, hate the export options, hate the… well, shit I just am hating the whole damn thing.

Hi Ray, talking about a stunning zombie fiesta you did on that Threadless site (here insert a late blag offer for zombification(?!))
I was following your flickr for some time and enjoying some kid nostalgia watching your stuff ( remembering Garbage Kids, Santa Cruz designs from the 80′s …), but just now i decided to check your profile and discovered that you have a bloggish site and the best of them all a youtube page. It’s rare to see people sharing their knowledge, tips and tricks “for free” nowadays…It lead me to conclusion that i should investigate that Manga Studio, if it receives so much hype from people as yourself it must be good. If it’s good for your wacom it should be good for mine too. So yeah that was some ranting, but respect and i hope things get better with your projects and your family.
