Some new lettering

Posted December 15th, 2009 in Pictures.

For use on this very page. It’s nice to get to work on things relevant to my interests for a change. If you’re reading this on my site, you might notice that the old WordPress theme has been changed quite a bit. I’m re-doing my portfolio and blog to be less heavy metal and more representative of the work I want to do rather than just the work I can get.

and you really think that a more “professional” look will get you those jobs? i always though more about the work, it’s not like you had a freakshow going on at this blog. and your illustrations are in the niece your design reflected.

I dig the new lettering, and the clean look for the site is nice. Will be curious to see where you go with the site design from here and look forward to seeing different stuff from you.

Smashill, wear the clothes for the job you want, not the job you have. It certainly won’t hurt to position my work in a more mature way.

Jeremy, thanks.

Hey Ray, just link up the logo up there in the top left to the home page. It would help a lot!

ahhh didn’t want to sound like a jackass. it’s a cool new style. i have always been thinking about with whom I would like to work together, and if those guys are not open minded it’s going to end in a lot problems anyways.
nevertheless you will run into my open doors with your design, as i love whitespace to underline the art.

you’re sidebar needs a clear class set before the end of the div (the sidebar is cut off after “last twitter update” on my screen).

anyways, i love the new lettering.

oh just one note about the design, I looked at this with my netbook and noticed that the sidebar does not scroll, which does not feel very useful if you shoot for a minimalistic, boarder free design.

Done intentionally. :)
