ROKK “Maiden” Tee Design

Rokk Clothing requested a ‘Maiden inspired design for UFC Fighter Josh Barnett. I’ve done a few attempts for them, the first shown actually being the second produced. It’s a four color design. Yellow, pink, blue, and green.

Ray, your work is fantastic. I was curious about your process. What is the light blue that shows up in the “in progress” work? Also how do you approach working in layers? Do you use digital tools in any capacity? Your work is a pleasure to look at.

Hi Emily… Ray uses Manga Studio EX software, in addition to Photoshop, real pen and ink, and some obscure command-line software for conversions on occasion… I’m sure Ray will have more to add to this.
