Family Force 5 Tee
Posted June 24th, 2008 in Illustration.
I’m working on a few tee designs for the band Family Force 5. There’s a pretty ravenous fan base for these guys, so it’s a fun brand to work with.
I’m trying out a few new things with my work. Focusing on bolder line variances more akin to traditional work is the main impetus for change here.

Wowsy! You really hit this one outta the ballpark, Ray. I’d buy the shirt, even though I’m not crazy about their music… (yeah, I know, the kids dig it…).
Here’s one of me new one’s…

This is just too cool for this world, Ray!
I’m getting a weird (inna good way) 70′s-80′s Zombie vibe from this. Great work!

Thanks. It’s a relatively new approach for me. I’m using it to describe form better than inks alone. Still gettin’ the hang of it.

I’m wondering what software program you folk use to generate WP headers?. I’ve used MS Paint in the past but it is not really flexible and does not produce extremely very good outcomes. As I’ve dodgy eyesight I’d like to find some software program that works well (on Windows 7) and can be installed on any future personal computer without the need of having to (laboriously) learn a new interface every single time. I have tried Gimp but wow I find it hard !! What exactly is the best graphics tool to go for which is free of charge ?. Any ideas gratefully accepted.
