Eat the Rich Apparel Illustration
This tee was designed with flexibility and ease of production in mind. In addition to a high-falutin’-six-color version, there is a single and three color offering. I’ve also offered a myriad of tee color choices. I’m partial to the three-color design on white, but think it works equally as well on others.

Excellent! This one is really good Ray.
Just one question how did you made the shades on the six color design ? Any special technique or just pure simple brushes? They are really cool and impressive.

I think my favourites are the six-colour on the yellow and the monochrome on the grey, although of course it’s always hard to tell with these things until you see the t-shirt itself.
I’m not sure about eating the rich though, I mean I suppose they’ll have the fattest and most succulent flesh, but it might be the healthy-conscious zombie that chooses slightly more lean cuts of meat.
(See, I posted again!)

Sick designs, Jay!
How did it get here, for you? Where did you start drawing?
I’m interested in your background. :-)

Ey Ray! Photoshop CS4 has a new feature: you can rotate the canvas! Like in Painter X but without thousands of bugs!
Yeah!

Hey, Dan. I started drawing about four years ago - well into a career as a print designer. I jumped ship, full time as a freelancer, about a year ago.
Nahkala, I dig the three color version the most, but like that colorway for the six color too.
AWCH, I’ve heard about it. The brush algorithms (cubic interpolation according to Painter) need an overhaul. If it handles line art better, I could see myself jumping ship.

I’m seriously evaluating getting Photoshop CS4 for the 3D and 3D paint options… I’m in the middle of a movie poster project, and I sure as heck coulda used that functionality to get things moving along faster. Problem is, I’ve still got my ole G5… I’d have to get a new iMac at the bare minimum. –sob– All of these bloody expenses…

Shirts are awesome :)
Do you know if there is a big difference between the brush engine in Manga Studio Debut and EX?

Ian, the ethical clothing company Eat the Rich will be producing this design in the future. I try to update the blog whenever a new product goes on sale, so expect to see something here eventually.
Trev, no difference in the brush engine ‘tween the two. The biggest difference is a perspective ruler which automagically snaps lines to vanishing points you specify. Handy for scene building.
