Yes; after using SwitchResX to set a custom resolution/refresh rate, I was able to get the 20WSX alive and kicking. The latest post on my blog has a download link for the former.

first: thanks for posting your efforts, my 20WSX is due back from repairs from Wacom today and I installed Snow Leopard last night–so am anticipating trouble

second: do i understand it right that you have the tablet working properly with SL?

Update: Third party app named SwitchResX allows you to set a custom (correct) refresh rate of 60hz at the native resolution. Kludgy, but it fixes the problem.
