vankrazy asked: Thank you for your reviews and knowledge in this digital drawing world. I just bought the Yiynova MSP 19U and Manga Studio EX 4 along with your brushes and love them all greatly!!! I do have one question though since I'm new to all this. When I'm drawing my lines aren't very crisp. Not smooth looking. And when I zoom in they almost look pixilated. Is there a setting that I need to...

I’m iterating on my prior Photoshop inking brushes and am making some ground.
Using a combination of flow, texture, roundness, size, and dual brush settings, I can get an inker that is significantly more controllable. I’m not interesting in making the billionth paint or natural media brush set. There are plenty. I’m trying to make Photoshop ink cleanly digitally and...
psuedofolio asked: Hello, I've been a very happy user of a Monoprice 10x6.5 for some eight months now, at the time I thought it was a cheap emergency replacement for my broken tablet laptop. I love the Monoprice but am beginning to miss drawing on a screen. I've been looking at the Yiynova but now I don't know about putting away the Monoprice, it's been excellent in almost every way. Do you find...

I just discovered a MUCH MORE convenient way to install Manga Studio 5 tool presets.
A) Open a Finder window with your presets directory shown.
B) CMD+Tab to put Manga Studio 5 in focus.
C) Drag brushes to a sub tool palette.
THIS IS SO MUCH QUICKER THAN IMPORTING THEM MANUALLY.

feust asked: I love your PS brushes, they are amazing and work really well for me. They were xactly what I was looking for! It was a well-spent 5$. Thank you so much for sharing. I found your tumblr post through googling for good inking brushes in PS. I was not disappointed!

I think I handled this the right way, haha. →
I see a fair amount of shady searches for my brush sets ala, “Frenden brushes rapidshare.” The $5 is a tip jar. A thanks for brute forcing the settings.
If $5 breaks the bank, you need it more than me, I bet. I grew up in one of the poorest neighborhoods on the south side of Chicago. For some folks, $5 is a lot.
EDIT: The warez site deleted my offer to give the brushes away to them...

CaptainChants: A little Review of the Yiynova... →
captainchants:
I’m sure most of the creative community has now heard about this tablet, thanks to Frenden and PC Weenies so I won’t go into all that detail, but just write about my experience with it so far. *I have never used a Wacom Cintiq, so I won’t be able to compare the two.* First off, this bit…
It’s always nice to see others having the same experience I did with the...
