A Quick Tone Doodle
This isn’t actually part of a comic. I’m just messing with noise tones.
The tone looks less obviously repetitive when seen at actual size. Shrinking halftones always creates a moire-type effect and displays patterns that would otherwise be imperceptible.
I know this’d PRINT fine, but display on a monitor is a unique issue.

Is that an, umm, futuristic penguin in one of those japanese robe dealies?
Either way I like the effect, it softens the contrast a lot. Plus not a garish pink or green in sight, yay!
