Jarrod, I used to do a lot with layered spots, but the style got bitten by a large group of people and I knee-jerk reacted by simplifying my colors. I’m gradually incorporating more color back into my work.

Greed is good, at least when you draw it :D Maybe adding the white color to the areas of wood in the shadow would add some dimensionality?

Lady Justice looks like she’s waiting to use her ‘safe word.’ heh. The line work and staging of that pix is good and the expression on her face and the pose of her right hand are just wonderful, especially in the context of the whole picture. She’s lost her sword, so she has lost the ability to mete out justice, therefore the scales are all kittywampus (see: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=kittywampus ).
